Will She Find God's Treasure In Your Life?
By Mark Flippo
Proverbs 2:4-5 ESV
If you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
Matthew 6:21 ESV
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Colossians 2:3 ESV
In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Have you memorized very many scriptures? Just listening to the sermon every Sunday will help you remember scriptures. Bible studies will help even more. Make time to study His Word! If you have a hard time with understanding it try a different translation. Just be careful which you use. The Message Bible is a good one. My wife and I have used it on many occasion.
Teach your children from Bible stories to get them started. Make sure you are telling them the Truth. Some stories do not give the whole Truth. One wrong that needs to be changed is that many of them say Elijah went up in the chariot but that is not true. He went up in the whirlwind the chariot just separated him from Elisha! Jesus was three years old when the kings visited them. Look it up for yourself.
