Walking On Water
By Mark Flippo
Jesus walked on the Sea of Galilee not the Jordon River! Have you ever considered why He did things the way He did. Galilee refers to all of the area that is north of the Mount Carmel-Mount Gilboa ridge and south of the east–west section of the Litani River.
The Jordan River has since biblical times been imbued with powerful symbolic meanings: it is a boundary and a crossing point, a metaphor for spiritual rebirth and salvation, and a source of holy water.
Joshua's calling as a prophet was confirmed to the Israelites when God parted the Jordan River and allowed them to cross into the promised land.
I tend to think like, wow that would have been great to see. God the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whatever you need is not new to Him. He is way ahead of you. He just wants to hear you communicate with Him. After all You are His kid!
