God Is With You In Your Weakness
By Mark Flippo
Romans 14:1 ESV
As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
Romans 15:1-2 ESV
We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
As you have walked with the Lord a long time you can look at someone and understand that they feel weak in spirit. If you are more mature in the Gospel you have a responsibility to help those that are weaker. This means teaching and praying for and with them. This does not mean they should depend on you. We must always direct them to Jesus. Teach them scriptures to grow with. If they have a problem you can guide them to a degree but it is your pastors responsibility to keep them on the straight and narrow. Always walk softly before the Lord and your church family! Stay humble and let God do the rest!
