Are You Weak Or Strong?
By Mark Flippo
Isaiah 41:10 ESV
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
2 Corinthians 12:10 ESV
For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Forgiving is one of the most powerful emotions! Here God tells us to fear not, He will strengthen us. Humans have most things backwards. Without scripture to guide us we would really be a mess. People of the military feel like they must show strength all of the time. Even when they talk about things that have not gone well they say it is a strategic retreat. They never want to say they lost.
There is a lot of pride in those words. Admitting you have failed at something seems to be a sin just to mention it. In Truth we can go before God and ask His help and know however it turns out it is God's will. We have not failed. There are times we have misinterpreted what our Father wants, so we have failed in that instance. God has set us up to be more than Conquerors! If we stay with Him we will always be strong! Let stay prayed up then we can be Victorious!
