Growing In God's Love
By Mark Flippo
Romans 8:37-39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In reaching out to others, it can be very difficult to find the right words to describe God's Love. It is so all encompassing that there is nothing and no one that He can not touch! He reaches out to all mankind wanting desperately to share Himself with anyone who will entertain His presence! It does not require much for your first contact with Him.
As you grow He asks us to dedicate more time to Him. When you are growing physically do you not spend time with a parent. You are eager to learn. You enjoy being held by them. Love can develop into a stronger bond as you grow. When you get to the adult stage you begin to understand the struggles that your parent or parents went through raising you. Jesus is the same way. He did it first and humans did it second. Please seek your Heavenly Father and let Him bring you closer to Him than you ever knew was possible!
