Miracles In My Life!
By Mark Flippo
Acts 3:16
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
The first miracle I can remember was I was run over by a car when I was not quite two. I was in the hospital for one week which was a great surprise for many. I only had a pinched nerve in the back of my neck. Thank you, Jesus!
When I was in my teens' I did a backflip off of a diving board. Sadly, I came down onto the board. I bled like a stuck pig. I am surprised that I can even think straight. God is good! Stitches and more stiches. In my junior year in school, I was helping one of the custodians paint a sign. On my turn he tossed the spray can to me, but I missed My pour head took a severing blow and started bleeding.
Well, some stitches and I was good to go. At work I had a heart attack fell to the floor I was within a few feet of the telephone so I could use the paging system to get help but did not happen. The manager after about an hour showed up at work to find me crumpled up behind the desk. He sent me home. I finally had the strength drive home. As soon as I was home my wife Marian took me to the emergency. I had ten blockages, and they did a five-bypass surgery! During surgery they found I was growing a new vein to help with the blockage.
This only happens to people after a certain age. It took one year for me to get any strength back but while I was recovering it gave me time to spend more time in prayer. Focusing on getting closer to my Heavenly Father. Good can come out of any situation! Our central air went out of course that was a very hot summer. We learned that our electric company would help you, we just have to go through the process. By the time they approved helping us we received a new central air unit at no cost to us! Praise God! Way to many others to fit into this lesson.
