Let Them Flow!

John 7:38
“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
Gen 2:10-14 (RSVCE)
10-A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers. 11-The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which flows around the whole land of Hav′ilah, where there is gold; 12-and the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there. 13-The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which flows around the whole land of Cush. 14-And the name of the third river is Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphra′tes.
When contemplating John 7:38, why does the scripture state that out of your body shall flow rivers of living water? Why not just a river? So I researched back to the place of first mention where rivers are talked about in the bible. The 4 rivers names meant the following: Pishon (Increase/full-flowing), Gihon (bursting forth/gushing), Hiddekel (quick or rapid - purpose of arrow reaching the goal), and Euphrates (fruitfulness and sweet). The main river allowed Eden to flourish and the 4 rivers flowing out it allowed the land to also flourish and be fruitful.
The above in a natural picture of the way the spirit flows today. We are filled with the Holy Ghost from above, the singular river. Then through us the Spirit works by multiplying into 4 sections. This is giving us the tools for our lives to be fruitful and to improve the quality of life in those around us. We are to surround people with faith, joy, hope and love. We will increase ever-flowing, bursting forth, quick to reach our goal or target and bring forth sweet fruitfulness in the Kingdom of God. With the 4 rivers in each of us being activated and with us doing our part, we can turn this world upside down through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Are you ready!!!!! Let's go, let them flow!
