Can God Lead You?
By Mark Flippo
Romans 8:14 (ESV) For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Galatians 5:18 (ESV) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
I grew up on the farm. Now let me tell you about some of our animals. This little problem happened to at least one of each group of animals. One horse that would just stomp all over your last nerve! That bull, there are good reasons why bulls have a ring in their nose! Would you think it would stop with these two groups? Very funny, Ha, Ha!
Hogs, pigs and even roosters and that occasional chicken have their moments. When they get too full of themselves, you just have to come to an understanding with each one of them. Oh boy, do you ever! Of course our dogs and cats were sweethearts. Not in my lifetime. Animals are like people they all have their own personalities. Now when we are talking about being led by the spirit this kind of behavior shows it's ugly head to your pastor and other saints! You are not fooling anyone. You can't hide this ugly monster.
Stubbornness, yes that is the ugly thing that can rear up and cause trouble. Has your pastor ever called you on that stinky attitude? If you ever have that problem, make sure it is gone faster than you received it! It will destroy your Christian walk faster than anything.
Ask for help, praying this out of your heart and mind! You will not be able to get rid of it alone. When it is gone, go to your pastor and ask them to forgive you! Clear the air and begin to Love in a greater way with a willing heart!
