Go And Sin No More
By Mark Flippo
John 8:
7-So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8-And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9-And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10-When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?
11-She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
It is a surprise to many that God forgave a woman in adultery.
Wherever you are in this world and whatever you do can be forgiven! God's Mercy can cover a multitude of sins. You must repent from your soul to receive that kind of forgiveness.
Repentance means :the action or process of repenting especially for misdeeds or moral shortcomings. Repenting means :to turn from sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one's life.
Jesus wants us all to get better in Him. Do not look down your nose at anyone. To God all sin is sin. You are no better than the drug addict. We are all made from the same material. Even the rich that may think they don't stink from time to time. We all have much in common. We all pass gas. We all throw up when we are sick. Do I have to mention diarrhea? We all suffer beyond our physical shortcomings. We all love.
We get wounded when someone we love no longer loves us. We cry at many things. We all know about births and deaths. Just remember all of this the next time you get vain. If you think you are better than others. When you do that, you just sinned. Should stones be thrown at you for your attitude?
