When Egypt Croaked!
By Mark Flippo
Exodus 8 (NKJV)
1-And the Lord spoke to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 2-But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your territory with frogs. 3-So the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into your house, into your bedroom, on your bed, into the houses of your servants, on your people, into your ovens, and into your kneading bowls. 4-And the frogs shall come up on you, on your people, and on all your servants.
Can you imagine your home full of frogs? You could not walk without stepping on them. They would be all over your bathroom. In your bedroom covering everything. In your refrigerator and cabinets. Now you start to get the idea how those Egyptians felt. After all of the plagues God brought against all of their false Gods, they were ready for them to go.
If you had that kind of trouble and you know it was because of a certain group, would you be ready to help them pack and help them anyway you can just to get rid of them? Did you know that the Egyptians had many Gods at that time? God took every god of theirs and proved they were false gods. He destroyed them in every way possible. I hope you do not have anything that takes up most of your time because that is how you know it has become a god to you. Take a good look at your life and see yourself through God's eyes! Is there anything you need to cut back on or eliminate completely?
