Remembering A Friend For A Lifetime

I have been blessed with good friends. Several years ago, I was in such great pain that I went to the hospital. Sadly, the doctor that did the surgery lacked in his decision-making abilities. I had a gallbladder full of stones and the knot head opened me up from my rib cage down to my crotch! He showed me a drawing before he started how he was going to proceed but threw it out at his convenience.
Anybody out there ever had an incompetent doctor? Anyway, I was in the hospital one and a half months. He stopped my digestive system and could not get it restarted. It is called an Ileus! I was not able to eat for that whole time. I lost about 50lbs. I guess, thank God I was overweight.
This brother from our congregation Terry Turman owned a business but took time almost every day to come up and sit with me and pray before he left. He was a great comfort to me in that horrible situation. Just knowing he was, there helped me to finally get some restful sleep. Thank you, for sharing much Christian Love, to take time to see me!
I have never forgotten his kindness. Even though we have since changed to a different congregation I remember him in my prayers. A good friend is very hard to find. Just want to Thank him again from the bottom of my heart! Thank you, Terry for making such a profound impression on me that I still remember you with much Love, your friend Mark!
