Is Service, A Gas Station For You?
By Mark Flippo
Proverbs 3:7-8 ESV
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
Is when you come Sunday Morning your time to get filled up? By the end of your work week you are done in. If one more person talks to you badly you are going to give them a piece of your mind. Like to old saying you don't have enough mind to give any of it away! That can be an easy trap to fall into. What does the scripture say about your Christian experience? You need to develop a great prayer life so that you will continue to be strong even if you miss time to get together with like minded people. They get together to acknowledge that they still need Him on their best days as much as their worst days! Start just simply talking to God like a person in the room with you. Learn scripture and pray using them.
Psalms 100:4 KJV
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
Make use of this recipe for coming the right way before God. Then repent, make sure your heart and mind are clean before you ever ask for anything. Let our Jesus grow you into becoming a great prayer warrior. Do not forget He answers in His time not ours!
