Heavenly Kisses
By Mark Flippo
The photo above is so sweet I had to share it. We want to wrap our babies in Love and Kisses. They depend on us for everything. They do nothing for themselves. We feed them, burp them, change their didies and bath them. There is not a question in them about how we care for them.
The same way with Jesus in the spirit. He feeds us, when we are hungry. He cares for us, when we are sick and when we repent He cleans us up. I am sure you know how diapers smell. Yuck! Sin is a bad smell in God's nostrils! He mentions in the Bible about the Saints having a sweet smell to them.
2 Corinthians 2:
15-Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way of salvation - an aroma redolent with life.
16-But those on the way to destruction treat us more like the stench from a rotting corpse.
17-No - but at least we don't take God's Word, water it down, and then take it to the streets to sell it cheap. We stand in Christ's presence when we speak; God looks us in the face. We get what we say straight from God and say it as honestly as we can.
So sin is the opposite of God so it must stink bad! Just remember, we do not always smell like flowers to our Savior. At least we know how to fix that problem by repenting and getting that sin washed away and under His Blood!
