The River That Moved

However, for several decades, it's becoming increasingly apparent that the Tigres-Euphrates River system is drying out. A government report in 2021 warned that the rivers could run dry by 2040 due to declining water levels and droughts driven by climate change. NASA'S twin Gravity and Climate Experiment (Grace) satellites collected images of this area in 2013 and found that the Tigres and Euphrates river basins had lost 144 cubic kilometers (35 cubic miles) of freshwater since 2003.
Changed Bed at Susa:
In ancient times it flowed at the foot of the citadel of Susa, but its bed is now about 1 1/4 miles to the West. The date of this change of course (during which a portion of the ruins of Susa was carried away) is uncertain, but it must have been later than the time of Alexander the Great. The stream's greatest volume follows the melting of the snows in the mountains, and floods ensue if this coincides with the advent of heavy rain. Most to be dreaded are the rare occasions when it unites with the Ab-e-Diz.
Things that you depend on for life can be removed from you. Where would you be then? You need to stay near the life-giving flow of the Spirit of God! When shortages come and they are coming be aware! You may not be able to even find water. If you truly know God, He will take you through it all! He has much in backup food supply for your family!
