GOD is very exact in everything. We know from reading HIS Word that it’s the Helmet of Salvation. Why did GOD use specific parts of the armor with specific spiritual items? For Salvation to occur HE has to change your thinking first. Next the Breastplate Of Righteousness your heart must have Righteousness applied. Your Loins Girt About With Truth. Why was Truth used on that area of your body? When Israel left the truth, GOD always said they were whoring after false gods. Your most intimate parts must be grounded in Truth.
Your feet must have the Gospel Of Peace. When you have Peace, you will walk with confidence. You will not stumble and fall. The Sword is the Word of GOD. That’s easy to understand, there are things in us and others that need to be cut away. One last piece is the Shield Of Faith that protects all the others. Your Shield is movable. Move it to wherever it is needed most. If your Salvation is threatened move your Shield to protect your head. If your Peace is shaky move your Shield to protect that. Bless GOD for HIS word to us.
