How Is Your Farming Going?
By Mark Flippo
Wow, does this remind me of growing up on a farm. We had cows, chickens, pigs. horses, cats, dogs, deer, and an occasional skunk, I stayed away from ole stinky! For our season of growing we had to go through every field seven times. First plowing under the winter snow. Then discing, that breaks up the larger chunks of earth to a finer dirt so that we could plant. Then come planting, fertilizing, pest control. Harvest the crops in the fall and then plowing under the stalks that were left, making it ready for the snow. Now God raised up your crops so you can sell it and help with your growing family.
Now all you city slickers know how food has been brought to your table!
Why is seven an important number? It is the number of completion. Remember seven days of creation! He is working on you every day!
