What Should I Do?
By Mark Flippo
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (MSG)
But don’t let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk! There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another--showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.
We know the right things to do but at times get a little forgetful.
How is your memory? Mine is just fine. What were we talking about, oh yes. Ha Ha. We need to keep a sense of humor about us. Do not take yourself so seriously that no can talk to you. You know yourself better than others. Just share your boo-boos and faux pas with others. They will see you as approachable and they might even confide in you a burden they are carrying. We all need help from time to time. Just that human contact can sooth a person's turmoil. Let Jesus teach you how to be humble in sharing that you are not perfect either.
