What Are You Fishing For?

Matthew 4:19 ESV
And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 13:47 ESV
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind.
In this context my question is what are you fishing for? Some will go after the type of fish that can be caught in an easier way. Some like to go after the challenge. When it comes to salvation, what kind of people do you hunger after to bring to God for salvation? Do you look for the one that looks good and can help your congregation out the best? Do you go to those that are homeless and don't smell the best?
Do you know a drug addict? Do you put a lot of time in prayer before you go out to witness to others? Do you make friends of the person you are seeking out first? Do you ask God for His hearts desire first? Do you follow His leading? Make sure in your efforts to win souls that your zeal is in the right place. Go with God and I pray your heart will be made glad.
