Runaway Escalator Tragedy

Subway riders in Rome were sent tumbling Tuesday when a malfunctioning escalator sped up dramatically, causing a pileup at the bottom that resulted in multiple serious injuries.
According to the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, the subway station at Piazza della Repubblica was packed with locals and foreigners attending a high-profile soccer match between A.S. Roma and CSKA Moscow. Suddenly, the down escalator began moving at top speed, sending the people on board hurtling to the bottom.
In a shocking video of the incident, passengers are seen trying to brace themselves on the escalator as they speed toward the bottom, where there is a pileup. There is yelling and screaming, and some panicked riders try to climb over the railing to the opposite side to avoid landing in the pile. At least 24 people were injured, some of them seriously — including a Russian man whose foot was severed, Il Messaggero reported.
If they had been in the right place with Jesus they could have felt a warning to not get on that escalator. Have there been times in your life that you know you missed the warning from your Heavenly Father? We must mature in our feeling after His Spirit. If we will but yield ourselves so He can use us, then mighty things can be done. Many lives can be saved if we will but listen. Practice learning His ways and you will be the one God uses to save many.
