Some Never Grow Up
By Mark Flippo
Matthew 19: MSG
11-But Jesus said, "Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. Marriage isn't for everyone. 12-Some, from birth seemingly, never give marriage a thought. Others never get asked - or accepted. And some decide not to get married for kingdom reasons. But if you're capable of growing into the largeness of marriage, do it."
This is a different subject than the Lord has allowed me to write about before. He is very clear about those that should and those that should not get married. It requires a commitment to always be working to help your joining be a fruitful one! There are way too many divorces in America. The commitment part is falling short today!
It seems that those that get married need to make more time to get to know each other and get proper counseling are not doing their homework! Marriage is more than sex. If that is all you want don't waste either of your time by spending all that money on a wedding. Just give it to your local congregation that you know serves God and not man. If you have anyone around you that wants to get married and you have a happy and content marriage for many years, pray for them. Young couples need all the prayer they can get.
