Praying For Your Leader
By Mark Flippo
Jeremiah 3:15 “And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
Hebrews 13:17 “Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”
We appreciate our leader, Pastor C. Davis! She is a woman of much prayer. She searches her Bible daily. She wants all of us to be involved not only in activities around our building but in our communities. We give food to St Vincent's. Clothes to Mary/Martha Charity store. She teaches whenever they need her at this women's group.
Any place that God draws us to is where we help. She is a fine example. Our congregation prays for her continually. We hold her arms up like was done in the Old Testament. She will tell those she is responsible for that she knows and feels our prayers. Does your pastor know you pray for them? Do they feel you upholding them with your prayers? Do you tell them how much you Love and appreciate them? Please do! They need us as much as we need them!
