Which Is Greater In Your Life?
By Mark Flippo
Psalm 107:1 ESV
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
James 1:17 ESV
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
Which glasses do you see through? Are you wearing your glasses darkened by your troubles? Are you wearing your binoculars which help you see clearly what is coming your way through Jesus? Those glasses may change from day to day as you are maturing. I have had a rare day that I grabbed the wrong ones myself. I know when I have that bad ones on it is "What is going on? I can't get anything right!" Sound familiar? Tell the Truth Jesus is listening!
I hope they are less than what they were years ago. It can be hard to encourage yourself in the LORD! It is a must. That is why we need each other. When I am down someone will say something kind and it will pick up my spirit. At times the little children will run up and hug me. It just melts my heart and washing away some of that old stress. You are never to young or old to be an encourager.
