Setting Your World On Fire
By Mark Flippo
Psalms 104:4 - Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
Luke 3:16 - John answered, saying unto [them] all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
If you are lacking the fire it rests upon your shoulders. The fire referred to here in Luke is having a power from God to witness, to testify, to fulfill God's will in your life. It is when you pray and you feel that special kind of excitement in your heart that you know your prayer is being heard. You feel that confidence that you have been heard and that the situation is being dealt with right now.
There are joyful moments in a Christian's life that you feel like He is right there in the room with you. When that happens you will not know what to do. Should you Praise Him? Should you just fall on your knees and just bask in His presence? They are rare times but thrilling. Ask Him what He wants you to do. He will send you an impression to help you understand His desires.
