Are You Captain Of The Obvious?
By Mark Flippo
There are times that we know what is right but seem to get a short circuit in our heads. Have you ever pushed on an indoor? Have you ever driven the wrong way in a parking lot? We all have our moments when our mind is somewhere else. Have you arrived at a destination, and you don't remember driving all the way there? Part of the drive is just blank. You think, "Dear God, Thank You for protecting me on this drive?" There are things in the good book that are as plain as the nose on your face.
You just forget or your mind was elsewhere. You did something and you realize the Bible teaches against such things. You did not mean to say what you did but it just came out. You know the Bible better than that. Why did you treat your neighbor so badly? Thank God we can repent! We can make situations right again and live in the favor of God! When you have a moment that you said or did a dumb thing just make a place to pray and say you're sorry to Jesus and if possible say you're sorry to whoever you offended. Let us improve ourselves by praying daily and maybe we will have less boo boos.
