Thank God For Two Entrances
By Mark Flippo
Proverbs 12:19 - The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue [is] but for a moment.
Zechariah 8:16 - These [are] the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
Ephesians 4:25 - Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
This is about telling the Truth! Almost every Walmart or other chain store has someone selling something outside the store before you get inside. They want to sell this or that or they want a donation for one thing or another. I have known people that will tell them when I come out I will buy or donate. When they leave they go out the other door. Come in the main door and leave by grocery door. Shame on you.
You are responsible for your words. It is better to never say you will do something than break your word.
Most peoples word means very little these days but God keeps an account of every word that comes forth from your mouth! You may think it is a little funny and it is true it seems that way on the surface. But when you consider God is listening to you. Do your words and actions Glorify God or do you need to repent for them? Just think about it!
