Where Is Your Bed Made?
By Mark Flippo
In the BIBLE the term Bed is used to describe places of rest, illness and even death. It symbolizes
comfort, rejuvenation, intimacy, both physically and spiritually. For example,
Psalms 23:3 says, "You restore my soul; you make my bed".
The scripture reference is Psalm 139:8, which says: "If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there."
This verse reflects the omnipresence of God, emphasizing that whether in heaven or hell, God is always present. Bet you did not know you may have made your bed in hell. Your bed is a place of comfort. You decide what brings you comfort! Which place have you made your bed, Heaven or hell? Do you have some praying to do?
