What Intimidates You Can Promote You

It would have been impossible to take a lump of clay and immediately turn it into a utensil without preparation. Instead, it needed to be molded, shaped, and refined by fire first by an artist who had a purpose for the clay. We are all like lumps of clay in the Potter’s hand, waiting for promotion as useful vessels. We want to experience God’s purpose for our lives. Perhaps we want to be elevated into a new position or new calling. Confrontation is not easy. If you can intimidate your enemy, the start of your battle is won! Problems come into our live to let us know if we go to God in prayer, we can have the victory! But, waiting can be difficult and sometimes painful as God molds us, makes us, shapes us, and sometimes disciplines us! Most of the time, promotions don’t come easy. There is a lot of hard work and struggle on the path to success. But that doesn’t keep us from wanting the easy route. Most of us want to quickly receive the promotion God has planned for us—and we want it right now!
