Weeds or Grass, You Decide!

A great looking lawn takes a lot of work. Things like cutting the grass. You need to trim the hedges, pluck out weeds (dirty word), trim your trees. Add fertilizer, lime and a few other things. Pest control, now I am tired before I even get started. It can be a full-time business. The kid down the street used to have a good summer job.
When was the last time you plucked out the weeds in your spiritual garden? Do you have beautiful flowers of His spirit touching others because He shines forth in you?
Do you have Roses or dandelions filling your spiritual garden? Do you pray daily or just a couple of times a year! Is He an emergency contact when disaster hits you or your family, but you're not interested most of the time? Does your Bible have dust on it? Maybe it is time to examine yourself? Like your lawn, do you need just some touchup? Maybe it is your time for total reconstruction! Next just keep your spiritual yard regularly worked in, it is easier than starting from scratch!
