Until The Disaster Has Passed!
BY Mark Flippo
Psalm 57-NIV
Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me,
for in you I take refuge.
I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings
until the disaster has passed.
God impressed me so strongly with this single thought, until the disaster has passed! Ok God what are you trying to help me understand? I was listening to scripture before going to sleep and the verse came across the TV about
until the disaster has passed! That was a bit of a surprise! Must be something horrible coming close to all of us!
He wanted all of His children to know that this tragic event must happen, but He is in control! When you see it coming find a place under His wings to be comforted and safe! Know that it will pass but we do not know how long it will last! Be prepared with confidence, not fear!
Let Him help you to know what you must do to protect your
family! Do not count Jesus out to help you the most. You might want to pray about the upcoming disaster and know if you should have three months' supply on hand! It may give you an opportunity to witness to your family and or neighbors as you help them also in sharing what God has given you the knowledge to store up!
A true Christian looks out for his family but also others in need. You need to be sensitive to His Spirit
letting you know who to help and who to leave alone! He teaches us Wisdom and firmness of conviction!
This is a warning to you just as it was for my wife and I and I hope God will allow us to share with our boys,
but until He does, we will not step out of His guidance!
