Turn Your Radio or TV On!
By Mark Flippo
We are so, much like a radio. We can change our channels to whatever music, to talk radio we want to hear. There is so much entertainment and knowledge out there! Whatever you listen to can change your mood! We must be careful of what you listen to or watch we sometimes forget our children watch us like a hawk! They will copycat even the bad stuff! They may not know what the swear word means but they know when to use it. Thanks, Grandpa, for that one. Remember that old song for kids:
1
Oh, be careful, little eyes, what you see,
Oh, be careful, little eyes, what you see.
There’s a Father up above looking down in tender love,
Oh, be careful, little eyes, what you see.
2
Oh, be careful, little ears, what you hear,
Oh, be careful, little ears, what you hear.
There’s a Father up above looking down in tender love,
Oh, be careful, little ears, what you hear.
3
Oh, be careful, little tongue, what you say,
Oh, be careful, little tongue, what you say.
There’s a Father up above looking down in tender love,
Oh, be careful, little tongue, what you say.
4
Oh, be careful, little hands, what you do,
Oh, be careful, little hands, what you do.
There’s a Father up above looking down in tender love,
Oh, be careful, little hands, what you do.
5
Oh, be careful, little feet, where you go,
Oh, be careful, little feet, where you go.
There’s a Father up above looking down in tender love,
Oh, be careful, little feet, where you go.
Sounds like a good lesson for the adults also! We need blinders for our eyes. Muzzle for our mouths. Sometimes plugs for our ears. Maybe we need our feet chained to the floor when we want to go someplace, we should not! Jesus Loved children. Maybe they were easier to teach. They are better at showing Love. Never let whatever storm in your life to interrupt your flow with Jesus! Love comes naturally; Hate must be taught!
