Tearing My Walls Down!
By Mark Flippo
The phrase "tearing down walls" is a figurative way of expressing the idea of overcoming barriers or obstacles, often spiritual or emotional ones, as described in various biblical passages. These "walls" could represent doubt, fear, insecurity, or even literal physical barriers. Scripture offers numerous examples of walls being broken down or demolished, symbolizing reconciliation, healing, and new beginnings.
It is so easy to build up walls to protect your feelings from being hurt. As a race we have destructive nature. Why do we hurt others and feel justified. Boy, do we all need more of God! Please, repent and ask Jesus to straighten up our selfish, thoughtless attitudes. My attitudes are the worst. To God be the Glory for His correction and patience.
