Signs Of The Times!
By Mark Flippo
Our world is full of signs. "One Way Street", "Speed Limit", "Construction Ahead",
and many more! Everywhere you go you will see multiple signs on your way there!
All trying to help us have a safe trip to anywhere we go and then back home!
So many signs may seem a bit overkill.
I am grateful for the spiritual signs we are given to keep us safe! Following these
signs will save your soul which is more important than your body. The Bible teaches us that:
Matthew 18:9
"And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire."
This verse emphasizes the importance of self-discipline and the potential consequences of sin, suggesting that it is better to live with one eye than to be cast into hell fire for sinning. The context of this verse is about the seriousness of sin and the need for repentance.
Explanation for scripture by Bible Gateway
God knows what is best for us in this time of our life! No matter what you are suffering from mental,
emotional, physical or whatever, God knows best! He can deliver you or help you through it! Just do not forget Him He has not forgotten you! May you mature in Him who Loves you when others do not! He will carry you when others cannot! He wants you to feel His LOVE even now as you read this lesson! Praying for you! Yes really!
