My Oddball Toolbox!
By Mark Flippo
I have a very oddball toolbox, every time I open it some of my tools would be missing. Of course,
I asked my wife and my boys if they had borrowed them, well you guessed it, no they had not touched them.
Later I would find the missing tools in their rooms or cars with a couple of other ones. What a surprise!
My sons are grown and gone and guess what, when they moved memories of our life's together came flooding back. My wife cried a lot. It was hard for her to let them go. I just wanted to help them move.
It was always amazing they could borrow tools but forget where they got them from until they moved out. Any dads out there have that experience for themselves? Tools will still disappear from time to time. Never trust your wife around your toolbox they have sticky fingers and a short memory. By the way I have long since forgiven
them all.
God gives us a complete toolbox of the Fruit of the Spirit of His attributes. In every situation start with
Love and Prayer. Ask God for His help! Please let our toolbox of a True Christian Spirit be filled with His mighty
Power that only comes through prayer and fasting, covered in LOVE! He will let us know the right tool for the job
LOVE. With God's direction we will accomplish more than a hard hand at the wheel! You pray that forgiveness will be found from all of the family for each other. You may not even know that forgiveness is needed. Pray and wait upon the LORD, forgiveness takes longer for some! Love them in spite of your arguments.
