Heal Me LORD!
By Mark Flippo
Psalm 6:2 states: "Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed." (KJV).
This verse is a heartfelt plea from King David, expressing his desperation and need for God's mercy and healing due to his frailty and distress. It reflects a deep acknowledgment of human weakness and the reliance on divine compassion. I have been blessed to see so many different types of healing. I also know what is like to wait and wait and wait for God to intervein. I have had some long chats with God that seemed a bit one sided!
Psalm 22:1-25 (NIV)
1-My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
2-Why are you so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning?
3-You seem too far away to save me, too far to hear my cries for help!
4-My God, I kept calling by day, and I was not silent at night.
5-But you did not answer me.
6-God, you are the Holy One.
The important thing is not to lose Faith! Whether He heals you or not, He is still God, and it is His choice! He gives us our need not always our wants. I crave to be without PAIN! I must suffer to let others know, not to hold a grudge against Him because it will do you no good. It will only harm your own body worse! Look to others that need healing also! Pray for them. They that get healed may hurt worse than you! It does not matter who gets healed of what. God heals all of our diseases. Cures our infirmities. Heals our minds! Nothing is too hard for Him!
I hope to be healed this side of Glory but if not, up there I will be whole with no pain! Amen!
