Are You A Good Sponge?

James 1:19: "let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger."
Proverbs 19:20: "Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future."
This one's goes for all of us! How many times did you wish you had not said something. Regretting that you have a big mouth. If you had only used Wisdom, the situation would have been better. Even if not now, later. I have stuck both of my feet in my mouth before! Have you? What a descriptive way to say something! How many ways can you say OOPS? You need to choose the elder you listen to wisely! Not everyone with gray hair is wise! I made that mistake before! I am more careful now. Bad situations can be better that they use to be. We need to be pliable in our Fathers hands. Now if a trying situation comes, we need to go back to the source of all our strength. Learn not to be old and crusty. We need to stay fresh all the time letting God move through us to help others. Thankfully, God can place a wise person in your path! Pray for that to be true in your life.
